This 1990s three-storey house in Sydney’s Lower North Shore required a complete reconfiguration of the clients existing home. The idea was to incorporate bold colour choices and materials and contemporary elements with the existing collection of stunning antique Asian furniture and artefacts. Light was also key in this renovation with the top floor opened up to maximise sunshine. However the show stopper is the sculptural spiral staircase with an oculus at its crown which floods each floor with natural daylight.
